For three generations, the Lanza family has been producing award-winning wines at Wooden Valley Winery. The family shares a strong connection to this land and an unrelenting commitment to improving the way they farm their vineyards and craft their wines. They are proud to be Suisun Valley’s oldest operating winery. Wooden Valley has been crafting Suisun Valley wine since 1933 and the Lanza family has owned the winery since the 1940s.
Over the years, their experience in the fields has helped produce an exceptional selection of varietals from rootstocks perfectly suited to the region’s microclimates.Taking time to share food and wine with family and friends has always been a part of their heritage. They offer a complete cellar of Wooden Valley Wines-all grown and bottled on the estate by the family. These include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, White Gamay, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Miscela, and Petite Sirah. The Lanza family wines are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Guests are always welcome to their winery and tasting room to sample wines, learn more about their history, and experience some old-fashioned Lanza family hospitality. The Lanzas have a vision for Wooden Valley Winery and the vineyards – to establish Suisun Valley as a world class wine region.
Wooden Valley Winery is open daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check out the events section to learn more about upcoming events at the winery. Wooden Valley hosts its popular Food Truck Fridays series and Wine & Song Sundays every summer and fall.
